Understanding Trauma by understanding about the learning brain and the survival brain to reframe how people without and with trauma perceive and process information from the outside world. I started looking into this as I had experienced some difficulties in my skateboarding journey while learning as I wasn't able to have a good focus in my sessions in the past, I came across this video explaining about my 'survival' brain (C-PTSD) and it made a lot of sense on why I was facing those mental challenges + blocks. I'm slowly retraining my brain out of the survival brain mode and it's a lot of work but it's progressing. I hope this video can help you understand another why yourself or another person can't learn or perceive the world around them due to their history or mental health condition(s).
